The Woollahra Festival of Fun 2026 is on! Part of NSW Seniors Festival, Woollahra Life! and Dementia Friendly Woollahra, this festival brings a month of activities designed for older adults in our community.
From art workshops to high tea, brain health talks to playgroup fun with grandkids – there’s something for everyone. Let us connect you to some fun!

What is Woollahra Festival of Fun?
Festival of Fun is Woollahra’s celebration during NSW Seniors Festival. It runs throughout March and brings our community together through:

Unlock your creative spirit and join local primary school students as we create art together. This intergenerational event celebrates “Live Life in Colour” with guided activities led by a professional artist and art therapist. Places are limited and carers are welcome too!

The Brain & Ageing: Insights for Healthy Ageing

Learn from neuroscientists and dementia specialists about brain health and ageing. This talk gives you practical strategies you can use every day.
Expert speakers include Dr Frederic von Wegner and other Dementia focused speakers encouraging healthly brain ageing
Grand-Day: Grandparents Day at Playgroup

- Time: 9:30am – 12pm
- Location: Holdsworth Woollahra Playgroup, 64 Holdsworth Street, Woollahra
- Cost: $12 per family

Bring your grandkids to Playgroup for a special morning of play, craft and storytelling.
Masquerade Ball High Tea
- Date: Friday 20 March
