Home Cuisine

Holdsworth Home Cuisine provides locally prepared meals delivered for seniors across South East Sydney. Meals are designed for people who may be living alone, feeling less confident in the kitchen or simply wanting an easier option during the week.

Home Cuisine meals are prepared and delivered by Lite n’ Easy directly to clients.

  • Deliveries on Fridays. You will receive a text message on Thursday with your delivery time window
  • A choice of frozen meals. Familiar favourites and seasonal options

Orders must be placed by 1pm Monday for Friday delivery that same week.

Orders are placed by phone or email, so you speak directly with our team. There’s no online ordering to navigate and no waiting for confirmation. Just a clear, friendly conversation with someone local.

Transport service for shopping

Some people enjoy cooking and simply want support getting to the shops. If that’s the case, Holdsworth also offers a separate transport service.

We offer shopping transport that helps you travel to supermarkets and local markets safely and comfortably, while continuing the routines you enjoy. It’s designed to make shopping easier, rather than replace it.

Grocery delivery

If getting out is difficult, grocery delivery can be arranged with the help of a support worker. In this case, part of your allocated support worker time is used to assist with shopping, delivery and unpacking.

This option works well alongside prepared meals for seniors, especially for people who like to keep certain staples or favourite items at home. Costs depend on your funding and the time required, and this will always be explained before services begin.

Holdsworth offers a single meal delivery service through Home Cuisine, with meals delivered directly to clients by Lite n’ Easy.

Clients can feel confident knowing that Lite n’ Easy provides a wide range of high-quality meals and food options. Menus are nutritious, flexible and can be adjusted weekly to suit individual preferences and needs. Meals are delivered directly to your door.

This arrangement ensures reliable senior meal delivery while still offering choice and variety from week to week.

Meal delivery costs may be partly covered through the Support at Home Program (formerly known as the Home Care Packages program) or the Commonwealth Home Support Program (CHSP), depending on your eligibility.

Your eligibility, classification and funding level are assessed and set by the government, not Holdsworth. Once your funding is confirmed, Holdsworth helps you understand what’s included, how your budget can be used and delivers the meal services you choose within that funding.

The table below shows the current pricing structure and how costs are typically split between program funding and out-of-pocket contributions.

Yes. You can choose from the Home Cuisine menu, which changes regularly. Availability may vary due to seasonal ingredients or supply, and alternatives will be discussed if needed.
