Term 3 is here, and we are thrilled to welcome you to Term 3 at Woollahra Playgroup. This term, we have something very special to share.
But first things first: Term 3 is shaping up to be one of our best yet. Ten weeks of rich, hands-on, play-based themes designed to spark curiosity, creativity and joy in babies and toddlers across Sydney’s Eastern Suburbs. From sensory exploration and science experiments to superheroes, pirates and Father’s Day fun, there is something magical waiting every single week.

About Woollahra Playgroup
Holdsworth is a not-for-profit organisation that has been supporting families across Sydney’s Eastern Suburbs for many years. Our playgroup programs are designed around one simple idea: that children learn best through play, and that parents and carers thrive when they feel connected and supported.
We run two playgroup locations during school terms, both proudly supported by Woollahra Council:

- Tuesday 25 August: Kevira Behavioural Therapist at 10:30am. Practical, evidence-based strategies to help you understand your child’s behaviour and build confidence as a parent.
- Tuesday 15 September: Smart Speech Therapy at 10:30am. Expert guidance on supporting your little one’s communication and language development, with practical tips you can use every day at home.

Q: How much does it cost?
Woollahra Playgroup at Holdsworth is $12 per family per session. Woollahra Playgroup at Rose Bay Cottage is $6 per family. Bub Hub is free. We are a cashless service, so please bring your card for payment.
Q: What should I bring?
Just bring yourself and your little one! A water bottle, hat, sensible shoes, snacks (no nuts please), nappies and weather-appropriate clothing. We’ll take care of the rest!
Q: What age is playgroup suitable for?
Both playgroups welcome children from newborn to five years old. Bub Hub is specifically designed for newborns to confident walkers.
Q: Can dads, grandparents or other carers come?
Absolutely! Our playgroups welcome all parents, grandparents, nannies and carers. Everyone is warmly welcome.
Q: Is Rose Bay Cottage really open 5 days a week now?
Yes! We are so excited to share that Woollahra Playgroup at Rose Bay Cottage is now open Monday to Friday, 9am–12pm — five days a week for the first time! Come along any day that suits your family.
Q: Is playgroup on during school holidays?
Our programs run during school terms only. Follow us on social media or check the website for term dates.
