We work with participants to ensure we are planning activities that are enjoyable and suit each group. Activities can include:

  • walking tours of gardens, museums or other places of interest
  • musical experiences

Memory Loss/Dementia Support

Holdsworth Community has been accredited by Alzheimer’s Australia as a Dementia Friendly Organisation and as a Best Practice site.

We take a very individual approach to supporting people with memory loss and encourage people to continue to do all the things they have always enjoyed doing, for as long as possible.

Our activities and programs are tailored to your abilities and interests.

Home Connect

The Holdsworth Home Connect program is designed to support socially isolated older people who are living alone in their own homes.

This is our “safety net” program for people who may be without someone taking a regular interest in their wellbeing.

Most of the individuals supported by the program either do not have families who are readily available or do not want to involve their family in the issues they need to deal with as they age.
