Support for older people
At Holdsworth, we’re here to help you make the most out of the Commonwealth Home Support Program and support you to stay active, get social, feel safe or find connections.
The Commonwealth Home Support Program provides funding for support services to assist people over 65 (or over 50 for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people) to remain living at home and active in the community.

Let’s help you embrace your community. No matter how long you’ve lived somewhere, there’s always something new to discover. Through social events, excursions and planned activities, we’ll help put more of your community in reach – or just get you where you need to go.
Our lifestyle and culture programs are designed to help you stay connected to people and services in your area, and to enjoy new experiences. We work with all our participants to plan the best activities for you and your group. Join us for walking tours, bus outings, discussion groups, movie screenings and so much more!
If you’re looking to stay active, but you’re not sure where to start, look no further! With wellbeing classes to help you keep fit and active (with gentle chair exercises), stay safe, and have a few laughs with friends, we’re alongside as you stay strong and enjoy yourself.
We want you to embrace the freedom of getting out and about more. Whether it’s medical appointments, to the supermarket, or on a social outing with one of our groups, our friendly drivers (and our fleet of accessible cars and minibuses) will make getting there possible.
Meals & Shopping
Dreaming of a warm pot pie or a yummy bowl of pasta? We deliver nutritious, quality meals directly to you, or we can arrange regular grocery deliveries if you’re unable to get to the supermarket.
