Did you know that changes in the taxi and transport industries have resulted in a critical shortage of wheelchair accessible transport in our area?

Holdsworth has a proud history of filling vital gaps in our community. We have been connecting people with possibilities for over 80 years. Our mission is to empower people to thrive and grow and live dignified, independent lives. With your help, we can tackle this problem.

Our Community Transport fleet is in urgent need of an additional wheelchair-accessible vehicle, a lifeline for individuals like Emma* one of our younger clients, who, after breaking both legs, struggled to find available accessible transport when needed. Your donation can make a difference to the physical and emotional well-being of so many in our local community.

A wheelchair accessible vehicle, priced at approximately $60,000, is essential for providing freedom and independence. With it, individuals can access medical appointments, do essential tasks such as shopping, attend social and recreational events, and engage in daily activities with dignity and ease. All things that we may take for granted.

By donating $30, you’re providing more than just transportation – you’re offering hope, opportunity, and the chance for people in our community to live their lives to the fullest. We believe in the power of collective action and the profound impact of kindness and generosity can have on the lives of others.
