Holdsworth is thrilled to announce the opening of a brand-new location for Holdsworth Playgroup.

Thanks to the generous support from Woollahra Council, Rose Bay Cottage will be another home for Holdsworth Playgroup, starting Wednesday, 22nd February 2023.

“Woollahra Council is proud to support the opening of the new location for Holdsworth Playgroup at Rose Bay Cottage. Holdsworth Playgroup has been around for many years, in fact I even attended with my girls. The addition of this playgroup will be a valuable resource for families in the community, providing safe and engaging learning opportunities for children as well as support for parents. The experienced and qualified staff at Holdsworth will make this playgroup a success and we look forward to seeing the positive impact it will have on the community.” said Susan Wynne, Mayor of Woollahra.

Kim Tipoki, Manager – NDIS & Families, said “We are so excited to have the continued support of Woollahra Council to launch our much-loved playgroup at Rose Bay Cottage. Woollahra Council has been a strong supporter of playgroup for many years, and by opening at Rose Bay we are able to reach more families in a safe, supportive, and convenient location for families.”

To celebrate the launch of Holdsworth Playgroup at Rose Bay Cottage, Holdsworth are offering existing families a two for one deal. Bring a friend who hasn’t been to playgroup before and you will attend for free (Wednesday 22nd February 2023 – Wednesday, 29th March 2023 at Rose Bay Cottage). Find out more about this offer here.

“Holdsworth is thrilled to bring our much-loved playgroup including messy play, craft, rhyme time and so much more to Rose Bay and we can’t wait to see many new and old families. All are welcome” Kim said.

Rose Bay Cottage is a safe, enclosed playground, including a synthetic grass surface, sunshade and grassed area, with ample parking. It is easily accessible for young families and children, including those with prams.

“So many of us are going through the same things at the same time. It’s great to have a safe space where you can talk about it, but also have someone who’s qualified to help. You get to connect with people that you might not have met if you’d just stuck to your friendship circles. It’s nice, because they’re local, and we can do trips to the park and other activities,” said Lisa, Holdsworth Playgroup mum.

Holdsworth runs a dedicated Bub Hub support program for newborns to non-walkers which supports young parents in developing their skills, knowledge, and emotion connection with their child through playing, singing and discussion as well as parenting training and refresher programs.

Holdsworth Playgroup is dedicated for walkers to 5 years, and includes creative, imaginative, and sensory play, story and rhyme time, guest speakers and much more.
