Navigating the NDIS
The National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) is a framework to support Australians with disability, as well as their families and carers. NDIS takes a lifetime approach to ensuring that Australians with disability have the support they need to live a fulfilling life.
When you receive your NDIS plan you can select Holdsworth Community as your NDIS provider. This means that the support covered in your plan will be provided by Holdsworth and funded by the NDIS. As a registered NDIS provider, we support you to achieve your goals.
Choosing your NDIS provider
If you don’t have an NDIS package but are living with disability, please call us on (02) 9302 3600 to talk to us about how we can support you.
NDIS uses the following terms to describe the funding you can use to purchase the range of supports listed:
- Assistance with daily life
- Assistance with social and community participation
- Improved daily living skills
- Assistance with travel/transport arrangements

Our Support Coordinators work with you to identify the right support for you and programs in your area to achieve your NDIS goals.
- We connect you with the right people to help you build your skills and confidence
- We help you understand your NDIS plan
- We advocate for you to increase your funding, where needed
Our team plays a vital role to ensure adequate funding and support through the NDIS is achieved in order to promote, protect and defend the bests interests of you and your family. Once you’ve chosen your preferred service providers, we then support you to manage the referral process and ongoing liaison with local programs, services, professionals and other NDIS supports.

The National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) will use the following terms to describe the funding you can use to purchase the range of supports listed:
- Assistance with daily life
- Assistance with social and community participation
- Improved daily living skills
- Assistance with travel/transport arrangements
- Increased social and community participation

- Support Coordination
To attend these programs, you will:
- Have NDIS funding
- Have a positive outlook to engaging in new activities
- Commit to working towards your goals
- Commit to attending the programs as per the specified times
- Ensure that you have the correct funds to pay activity fees (a maximum of $30 per outing)

The National Disability Insurance Agency (NDIA) appoints price controls by setting the prices that registered providers can charge for those services. As a registered NDIS provider, Holdsworth charges the NDIS prices for support services.
Holdsworth is also compliant with the NDIA’s eligibility terms to use the Temporary Transformation Payment (TTP) conditional loading and will use the TTP prices where applicable.
