Holdsworth's February Ladies Chat Group

On February 25th, we hosted our Ladies Chat Group at Gaden Community Centre in Woollahra. The event, proudly supported by Woollahra Council, brought together a group of Holdsworth staff members and women from our community who were eager to learn about breast cancer prevention and the services available for early detection.

Prevention tips:

  • Limit alcohol intake: Reducing alcohol consumption can lower the risk of breast cancer. 
  • Maintain a healthy body weight: Keeping a healthy weight through a balanced diet and regular exercise is essential for overall health and reducing breast cancer risk. 
  • Engage in physical activities: Regular physical activity can help maintain a healthy weight and reduce the risk of breast cancer. 
  • Menopausal hormone therapy: Discuss with your healthcare provider the risks and benefits of hormone therapy during menopause. 
  • Breastfeeding can lower the risk of breast cancer.
